Governance

APS members are represented by the APS Council which meets regularly throughout the year to review policy issues and action items in the context of the APS Strategic Plan. The Council is in regular consultation with APS Boards and Offices and various Committees as well as other societies, agencies, and organizations, to ensure a timely response to current issues, opportunities, and developments. APS Council is effectively utilizing a continuous strategic planning process for making decisions and deploying resources to meet member expectations.
