EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) is planning to hold two stakeholder meetings to obtain public input on risk management options for the soil fumigant pesticides chloropicrin, dazomet, metam sodium, metam potassium, and methyl bromide. The two public meetings will be on May 22, 2007 in Richland, Washington state and on June 6, 2007 in Ft. Myers, Florida. See the May 2 Federal Register for details.

USDA, APHIS has submitted an information collection requirement for review and comments to to certify that unshu oranges from Japan are free of citrus canker and to also ensure that the oranges are not imported into citrus-producing areas of the United States such as Florida and California.
