The National Center for Environmental Research in the EPA Office of Research and Development has released its "Fall 2008 EPA Greater Research Opportunities (GRO)" solicitation for masters and doctoral level students in environmental fields of study. The Undergraduate Program will be announced at a later date. EPA intends to award approximately 15 new fellowships by July 31, 2008. View details for Graduate Environmental Study

The USDA APHIS is soliciting comments on its proposed amendments to the list of select agents and toxins that have the potential to pose a severe threat to animal or plant health, or to animal or plant products. The proposed revisions can be found in the August 28, 2007 Federal Register. Comments are due by October 29, 2007. Additional information will be posted at APSnet to facilitate those that may wish to respond.
