Typical of many farm families, working with the papayas is a family affair that is enjoyed even by family members who have off-farm jobs. Rudy’s wife, Lita (inset) works full time at a local bank, but spends two half-days helping to pack the fruit along with their son who is a mechanic but also makes time to come to the farm with friends to help pack the fruit.
