    Oral Presentations

    Oral Presenter Guidelines


    Special and Technical Session​​s will be broadcast via Zoom. Special Sessions will either be live presentations or pre-recorded; please​ contact your organizer​ for your specific session details. Technical Session presenters will be expected to pre-record their presentations and upload them to the Speakers' Corner (links to come) by July 24. See instructions on recording below.


    Poster Presentations

    All Poster Presenters will be required​ to create an ePoster for Plant Health 2020 Online. ePosters will be created in an app called "Learning Toolbox by Kubify." ePosters include the option to upload graphics and pre-recordings of you discussing your poster, as well as chat and contact functions. ​Virtual poster presenters will be required to be available and participate in any discussion threads for their ePoster.

    Watch for an email that will include additional details and your unique ​link that you will use to get started coming the week of July 6!​

    Recording Your Presentation

    All oral technical presenters are required to upload a recording of their presentation. Some invited speakers (special sessions) may also choose to pre-record their presentation

    Plant Health 2020 Online Virtual Backgrounds - You may use one of the following virtual backgrounds for your Zoom recording (click to enlarge):

    Uploading Your Presentation

    All technical presenting authors must submit their presentation video files to the Speaker Portal by July 24. Instructions will be emailed to presenting authors. 

    Invited Speakers (Special Sessions) should work directly with their organizer who will be coordinating with APS Staff to collect the recording files. ​

  • Session Attendance

    All oral ​presenters, even those who have prerecorded presentations, will be required to be available ​virtually for Q&A when their session is broadcast.

  • Important Dates

    Presenter registration deadline (must register for Premium or Unlimited)

    July 24
    Deadline to upload presentation through emailed link

    August 3
    Presentations are released for viewing
