Tobacco ringspot virus was transmitted to cucumber seedlings from naturally infected or inoculated Eupatorium capillifolium, Plantago lanceolata, Rumex obtusifolius, and Xanthium strumarium plants by handpicked dagger nematodes (Xiphinema americanum).
