About the Tour
The OPSR Industry Tour offers graduate students and post-doctoral researchers a unique glimpse into the operations of private sector companies and government agencies in the field of plant pathology and related disciplines.
Whether you're interested in private sector research, regulation, or non-profit advocacy, this
three-day experience is designed to provide valuable exposure to the range of opportunities available to plant pathology graduates.

- Engage with professionals across various sectors of the agricultural and plant health industry
- Observe real-world applications of plant pathology in diverse organizational settings
- Learn about the latest advancements and challenges in biotechnology, crop protection, and plant health regulations

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the tour start site, their transportation back home, and their hotel accommodations the night before the tour begins, as well as the last night of the tour (if necessary). OPSR will provide transportation, hotel accommodations (double occupancy), and meals during the tour. Additional hotel details coming soon! Please note that attendees will be asked to provide a credit card at hotel check-in for incidentals.
