NEW Communities of Interest & Coordinating Committees
Subject Matter Expertise Committees are being remodeled into Communities of Interest & Coordinating Committees!
An
Community of Interest (CI) is a network of APS members focused on a specific area within phytopathology, aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Members work together to address trends, challenges, and drive innovation. Participation is open to all APS members.
A
Coordinating Committee (CC) leads each Community of Interest (CI), setting goals, organizing activities, and ensuring alignment with APS’s mission. It promotes engagement, monitors field developments, and adapts based on member feedback to keep the CI active and impactful.
APS has begun this new endeavor with 6 Committees, with the rest to follow!
