APS Launches Major Initiatives in Electronic Communication

The 1998 member survey found that APS members identify improved access to information via the internet as one of the most important issues for their future.  In fact, the need for improved electronic communication was found to be second in importance only to the integration of plant pathology with other disciplines.

In response to the findings of this survey, APS has recently implemented a variety of major changes to its electronic communication venues. To help APS members get the most out of these improvements and additions, this month's APSnet Feature is a field guide to the new offerings.

The list below summarizes the areas that have been added or revised.  Click on the headings to link to a more detailed discussion of each initiative.
